Job Description
An established logistics company in Mumbai requires experienced Commercial Drivers for heavy vehicle operations including trucks and container vehicles. Candidates must hold a valid HMV licence and have a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive heavy motor vehicles safely and responsibly on assigned routes
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods as per schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain delivery documentation and vehicle log books
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents or incidents promptly
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicle) driving licenceKnowledge of traffic regulations and road safetyFamiliarity with routes across Maharashtra / metro regionsBasic vehicle maintenance awarenessAbility to handle consignment documentation
Educational Qualification: Class 10 pass; Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Licence
